Singing has always put me in my happy place...I found myself not only enjoying singing but making lifetime friends. I love my chorus, and I love Sweet Adelines for all they do to provide a nurturing and educational place for women to sing and grow together.
I have a stressful job, and when I meet with my Sweet Adelines friends and start singing I can physically feel myself becoming more relaxed, less tension. So - fun and therapeutic!
Our director is a wealth of knowledge about barbershop, and she is always willing share it with us.

If you're like most kids growing up who like to sing...you sang in high school, maybe even college but then got busy with life. Why not get back into the wonderful practice of singing! All a cappella! It's a great way to hear notes ring in a chord, and listen to the harmony that's created just by blending voices. We're women from all walks of life who get together on Tuesday night and sing for for the fun of it! (Right now we're on Zoom but I can't wait to sing with all of my buddies again.) Try it...you'll like it!

I thoroughly enjoy the Christmas concert every year. The beautiful surrounding and uplifting voices truly ring out the Christmas spirit. Great holiday tradition.
